How the calculator works
- Weight loss: we multiply your starting weight by the average percentage weight loss seen in studies (20% for Mounjaro, 15% for Wegovy).
- Total cost: this is the price of your treatment over 12 months, based on the standard monthly titration plan (starting with lower doses and stepping up to the highest dose).
- Cost per kg/lb: we divide the total yearly cost by average body weight lost, to give you a simple number to compare.
