Mounjaro® price changes from 1 September 2025 - what this means for SemaPen patients
Eli Lilly & Company has confirmed that the UK list price for Mounjaro (tirzepatide) will increase from 1 September 2025, bringing it in line with prices in other developed countries.
Our pharmacy partners have now confirmed that they are out of stock at current prices. This means any new Mounjaro supply will be subject to the new, higher pricing once stock resumes. We expect to have final patient prices confirmed tomorrow afternoon and will update all SemaPen patients immediately.
It’s important to note that Wegovy prices are not affected by this change. For some patients, Wegovy may be a safe and effective alternative if Mounjaro becomes unaffordable. Any change in medication will always be done under clinical supervision.
